1 Bright and airy kitchen in Khrushchev

The area of this kitchen is only 5.5 square meters. In order to have enough space for comfortable cooking and storage, the dining area was taken out into the living room. A neutral light palette was chosen for interior decoration. The main color is white. It was used for finishing walls and ceilings, furniture facades. The same light tile with a black pattern was laid on the floor. A warm shade of wood on the countertop was used as a "softening" and at the same time contrasting element. It turned out to be a light and visually spacious space, not overloaded with colored details.

2 Small kitchen in gray-green tones

This kitchen is also located in Khrushchev and occupies a standard area of 5.5 squares. But in this project, the designer chose not the traditional white for such cases, but a combination of complex shades. The role of the main color accent is played by a mint apron. Not only the shade of the tile stands out, but also the non-standard vertical layout. Pale green goes well with the cold gray facades of the headset and light walls. The texture of wood on the countertop and in the floor decoration adds comfort to the kitchen and perfectly matches the chosen palette. To create a sense of spaciousness, the upper tier of cabinets on one of the walls was abandoned. 

3 Cozy white and blue kitchen

This small isolated kitchen was decorated in a bright and fresh "marine" palette. White is the main color here, and blue is used pointwise (on the floor and on the apron), playing the role of an accent. The cool color scheme is supported by light gray with a blue tint, which was used in textiles: chair upholstery and Roman curtain. Despite the fact that such a combination of colors is rarely used in the interior of the kitchen because of its coldness, the space turned out to be light and cozy. Classic furniture forms, golden fittings and glass facades of the upper tier of cabinets, reminiscent of Provence or country style, are responsible for this.

4 Stylish and cozy grey kitchen

The interior of this kitchen looks simple, but thanks to several spectacular techniques it is very stylish. The palette is based on two basic shades: gray and white. In the first, the facades of the headset are decorated, and the second acts as a dominant in the decoration. A restrained gloss to the interior is given by shiny metal fittings on the furniture and glossy tiles on the apron. It is laid with a herringbone and thanks to this it looks spectacular. The brightness of the neutral palette was given with the help of textiles, choosing a Roman curtain with an active pattern. The main dining area is located in the living room, while the kitchen has a cozy breakfast corner on the windowsill. The rest of the space is given over to a roomy headset.

5 Laconic kitchen, where there is nothing superfluous

The interior of this small kitchen turned out to be restrained and at the same time spectacular. The calm palette is based on a combination of white and several warmer shades, which makes it look cozy. The walls are painted, tiles are laid on the floor, and the apron is lined with ceramic granite with a terrazzo pattern. It is this pattern that is the unifying element between all the colors in the kitchen interior. Additional comfort is provided by the texture of wood on the countertop, the dining table and some details: for example, in the decor of lamps.
