1 Next to the TV
The area next to the TV is quite difficult to decorate, decorations should not overload the wall and harmoniously coexist with a large black screen. Indoor plants are well suited for this role, as they look natural and not too massive. So, in this project, a small flower was placed on the console under the screen, filling the empty space, the TV hangs not quite symmetrically relative to the wall.
How to repeat
If there is a pedestal or console under the screen, feel free to place a small plant (or even a couple) on it. You can also put a large flower in a floor pot next to it, but make sure that the leaves will not overlap what is happening on the screen. Avoid strict symmetry: do not place two similar flowers on either side of the screen, it will look too thoughtful.
2 Above the dining table
A good way to refresh the dining area is to hang plants on the wall above the table. There may be other decor nearby: posters, decorative plates, photographs. Or the continuation of the storage area with dishes or products.
How to repeat
Use ampel plants: they will hang down beautifully, remaining in plain sight, even when you are sitting at the table. Before purchasing a flower, analyze the amount of sunlight in this part of the room: you may not need shade-loving varieties.
3 On an open rack
Open shelves are a good place for home plants: there they are clearly visible, and at the same time they receive a sufficient amount of sunlight. In this project, three rather voluminous flowers were placed on a small shelf: two on the top shelf and one lower, at the level of the dining table. Such a composition is interesting to consider, it does not bother.
How to repeat
Even if the rack is small, pick flowers with a sufficiently voluminous crown. Small cacti and succulents will simply get lost against the background of other decor and books that will be on the shelves.
4 Behind the sofa
Another spectacular technique is to place a large outdoor plant behind the sofa in the recreation area. So only the leaves will be visible, and the trunk and the pot will be hidden. At the same time, a tall flower will create a vertical that will harmoniously complement the horizontal line of the sofa.
How to repeat
If you decide to repeat this technique, any varieties resembling palm trees will do: dracaena, cicada, yucca, monstera. Immediately purchase an adult plant, so as not to wait several years until it reaches a suitable size.
5 Close to the dining group
An unusual solution is to put a large indoor flower in a floor pot close to the dining group. It will become the brightest and most interesting accent in the space, so there is no need to place any other complex decor in this area.
How to repeat
Make sure that the flower is not standing on the aisle: the leaves may begin to fall off if they are often touched while passing by. It is optimal if there is at least 50-60 cm around to bypass the plant.
6 Under the ceiling
An easy way to decorate any area in the apartment, even in a small room, is to hang planters under the ceiling. This technique will work with a dining area, a headboard, a desk or a sofa in the living room.
How to repeat
Select ampel plants that do not require frequent watering and direct sunlight. Choose the height of the placement, taking into account the fact that sometimes the pots will have to be taken out to make fertilizers or replace the soil.
