We have known our customers for a long time and have implemented more than one project for them. This time they turned to us with a request to quickly transform the house, bought with decoration and furniture in the Baroque style. It was supposed to be a place where the whole family would gather for the holidays. Therefore, we needed to create an interior that everyone would like: parents, children, and grandchildren.

We had only a month to develop and implement the project — the customers wanted to celebrate the New Year already in a new house — so there was no talk of any serious changes, such as demolition of structures. We mainly worked with color and pieces of furniture and decor.

The heart of the house was a spacious living room with large windows, a fireplace and a luxurious spiral staircase made of natural stone. To make the space brighter and more cozy, we replaced the metal railing with wooden ones and hung three instead of one central chandelier. The furniture of soft rounded shapes emphasized the geometry of the windows and stairs, while the restrained color scheme with delicate sky-blue accents helped to create a connection between the interior and the garden view.

The hostess cooks a lot, so we paid special attention to the kitchen. Instead of massive metal cabinets, similar to those that can be seen in restaurants, we installed a more compact kitchen in a light beige shade with a countertop made of quartzite. When designing the island, we took into account the short stature of the hostess, so that it would be convenient for her to roll out pie dough on the countertop.

In the design of the bedrooms, we used wallpaper made by hand from bamboo and silver threads. In general, we like to mix original textures in decoration and objects — thanks to this, the interior turns out to be interesting and multi-layered. In this project, we have given preference to natural materials: metal, wood and stone. When you design a house of this scale, you cannot focus on momentary trends, even decades later it should remain relevant.

The look of the interior is completed with handmade details. The most unusual item, perhaps, was the copper console in the living room. It was carved by sculptors in our own production. To the console, we picked up brass sconces that resemble the bark of a tree.
