"The main wish of the customers was to cheer up a boring planning solution"

There are many interesting solutions in the living room. This includes a fireplace in a marble portal, a green wall with an automatic watering system, and a rotary TV panel stand.

The customers found their country house boring, and they asked the designer to "cheer up" it with the help of color and a variety of chips. The wish was fulfilled — the house really became different. Designer Anastasia Ilyina decided to abandon the entrance hall — a wide portal immediately opens a living room equipped with a fireplace in a marble portal, a green wall with an automatic watering system and a rotary TV panel stand.

The pivoting structure did not appear here by chance — two metal columns and a channel stuck out in the middle of the living room, which were structurally necessary for the house. They decided to hide them inside the acoustic and television center, which was given mobility due to a rotary mechanism. On the one hand, TV, on the other — art. If you are not satisfied with the TV program, you can always turn to the eternal with a slight movement of your hand.

The most interesting item in the living room is a vintage mirrored sideboard by Italian architect and designer Paolo Buffa, created in the 1930s — 1940s. After graduating from the Milan Polytechnic Institute, Paolo Buffa spent some time in the studio of the legendary Joe Ponti, the "father of Italian design", but soon began working independently and designed a huge number of private and public interiors. He also created furniture for many of his projects. The beautifully preserved sideboard, which took pride of place in the living room, was bought at an antique auction.

Since the partition between the kitchen and the living room was demolished, the kitchen and dining room were connected to the living room. In order for practicality not to prevail over aesthetics, they did not make upper cabinets in the kitchen. But everything you need for cooking culinary masterpieces is here.

The kitchen is decorated with the works of ceramist Oksana Kondratenko.

On the second floor there is a master bedroom with two bathrooms - female and male — and a dressing room. The bedroom is laconic, but with a mini-balcony for outdoor breakfast with a view of the forest. And this is an element of luxury.

The office turned out to be modern and spacious — a large corner table, a leather couch, a large library, a sofa, and, most importantly, a large glazing area. In the evenings, there is amazing sunset lighting.

The study is a place of strength, as the library has the most valuable publications. The rack and table are made to order according to the sketches of the designer in Veevo Studio. The white sofa, the property of the customer, moved here from a city apartment.

The second floor ends with a guest bedroom decorated in the same neutral tones as the whole house. The designer sought to create a calm, warm, enveloping atmosphere in the room. Everything here is concise, simple, practical.

The white walls of the hallway became a perfect backdrop for a modern sculpture from the home collection of the owners, which stood here before the renovation

There are seven bathrooms in the house, two of them are personal, customer-oriented. "Yes, we did a little hooliganism with them and decided to create a place for privacy and relaxation for everyone — a pink scale with copper accents for Her and an "eco—style" in blue ceramics for Him," says Anastasia Ilyina. And the guest bathroom, located on the ground floor, was made black.

In the men's bathroom, part of the wall behind the sink is lined with hand-made wooden tiles. The rest of the walls are lined with ceramic tiles of the Portuguese factory New Terracotta in the color of the sea wave.

In order to "cheer up" not only the house, but also the pool, the designer decided to let the forest into it. The design uses the technique of the so-called "facade fresco": it is durable and flexible, not afraid of moisture. Bird lights of the Portuguese company Serip sat on the "trees".

For finishing the sauna, the designer chose an unusual material — Thermo Abash. African oak wood, beautiful and durable, in itself is well suited for baths and saunas — it is not afraid of heat or moisture. Thermating enhances these qualities. To get Thermo Abash, the wood is heated in special furnaces to 220 degrees, after which it acquires a chocolate color and the aroma of smoked wood, which the owners of the house really like.
