"I wanted the family to hurry home with a great desire after school or work," designer Olga Vodeneeva describes the purpose of her work. It was possible to realize it in full.

Customers and tasks
This small one-bedroom apartment belongs to a family with a son of primary school age. "The apartment is a place of rest and recuperation for them. The area is small, and the main task was to visually expand the space, it was necessary to make it light, but to create individual accents," says the designer and author of the project Olga Vodeneeva. Functionally, it was important for the family to think over the working places in each bedroom.

Redevelopment
The original layout of the apartment is quite successful: two separate rooms, a 10-meter kitchen, a bathroom and a bathroom. Of course, there were disadvantages in the form of a small ceiling height and a non-functional corridor between the rooms. The designer tried to level them out. And it was possible to do this, including with the help of redevelopment.
So, the area of the corridor was attached to the parent's bedroom and a dressing room was organized there.

In the second room, at the request of the child, a semi-fence was built, it divides the space into a bedroom and a sitting area with a sofa and a TV.

They also moved the doorway to the kitchen, which made it possible to rationally arrange the headset along the wall, having built in a dishwasher that would not fit otherwise.
Finishing
The finish is chosen in order to act as a successful background, envelop, create the same comfort and delicate accents. Wallpaper is on the walls in all rooms, excluding bathrooms.

In bedrooms with a light pattern, in the kitchen and hallway with a plaster texture, more wear-resistant. For an accent in the kitchen, they chose a blue convex tile on the apron.
The already low ceilings did not want to lower even more, so in the rooms and in the kitchen they only restored and painted, in the hallway, bathroom and bathroom they had to choose a plasterboard ceiling, also with staining.

The floor in the rooms is lined with engineering board in the color of natural golden oak. The floor in the kitchen and in the hallway is made of granite.
The same finish was chosen for the bathroom and the bathroom: stone background tiles on the walls, an accent tile with an ornament on the floor, and the walls of the shower in the bathroom are lined with it.
Furniture and storage systems
Despite the limited area of the apartment, the designer managed to fit the storage systems so that they do not clutter up the space. Due to the redevelopment with the use of a corridor, a dressing room appeared in the master bedroom. Next to the bed there is a work desk with a system of lockers and drawers for storing books and papers. Opposite the bed is a hanging console. There are also bedside tables.
In my son's room there is a high closet under the ceiling along the entire length of the wall with a niche for a TV.

In the sleeping area there is a chest of drawers instead of a bedside table next to the bed, and hanging shelves above the desk.
In the kitchen there is a corner set with an upper and lower row of cabinets. Due to the peculiarity of the layout (there is a protruding column in the middle of the wall, which cannot be removed), the headset is divided into two parts. But since the lower bases are deep, so that it looks harmonious, the column was "completed" with the help of furniture.

A spacious wardrobe with an integrated bench was installed in the hallway. By the way, an interesting technique that you can take note of is a niche in the shop, where there are also hooks for clothes, decorated with tiles, this is more practical in case the clothes are wet or dirty, the tile is easier to wash than wallpaper.

In the bathroom above the installation of the toilet, there is a cabinet that hides the collector node.

In the bathroom there is a cabinet under the sink, a closet above the washing machine, which stands opposite the cabinet. And for different jars and bottles with shampoos, shelves were thought out, equipped with a construction method inside the shower.

Lighting
The lighting is thought out by zones and decided mainly by chandeliers and overhead tracks on the ceiling, since they did not lower it in the kitchen and living rooms. Of course, there are additional light sources in the form of sconces over the dining table, beds. The bathroom, bathroom and hallway have built-in lamps, the bathroom also has a ceiling light and mirrors for soft evening and night lighting.

Olga Vodeneeva Designer, author of the project
The apartment resembles more Scandinavian style. This is evidenced by the brands used and the general concept of the most eco-friendly interior, where the ceilings are not covered with excess material, and a natural board is laid on the floor. It was difficult to convince customers that the environmental friendliness of materials is of great importance for the life of the family in the house. But we managed to find a compromise and abandon stretch ceilings and quartz vinyl flooring.
