The interior of this apartment was created for a ballerina of one of the theaters of St. Petersburg. The hostess herself did not have time to dive into the subtleties of repair, so her parents were the project's customers. They found me through social networks and informed me at the first meeting that they fully trusted me and were ready for any decisions. The main task was to create a bright interior reflecting the diverse tastes of the owner.

The apartment was purchased with a finished fresh finish and some furniture. We decided not to touch the decoration and use only decorative techniques. I diluted the boring gray walls with wallpaper and fabrics with bold prints. For example, the first thing that attracts attention in the living room is curtains with geometric ornaments. They set the mood for the whole interior. For the TV, we designed a structure with the image of clouds, which allowed us to install the screen without crushing the walls and became another accent detail.

In the study, in order to support the existing sofa, we pasted part of the walls with an emerald border, which immediately changes the perception of the room. The bedroom was decorated with wallpaper with antique motifs of a sleeping nymph and pegasus. The bed is made to order, and the curbstones remain the same — we just replaced the handles on them.

It was decided to fill the empty walls with art. The works were selected based on the general color scheme and hobbies of the hostess. So the central place in the living room was occupied by a lithograph of Erte, which I accidentally found in an antique salon. She gave the interior a note of theatricality, creating subtle associations with the Russian ballet, St. Petersburg and history. And in the study we "settled" Japanese engravings with birds.
