This apartment belongs to a married couple with a teenage son. The couple work in the creative industry and adore objects with a history. They had quite a lot of ideas on how to design their new home. "What we had to do was maneuver between the desires to repaint everything in black and blue and place all the accumulated and acquired pieces of furniture and art," says designer Anastasia Fedorovskaya.

The apartment was already with partitions erected. Customers turned to the designer on the recommendation of a sketch visualizer when they realized that they needed help with repairs. Despite the complex geometry of the rooms, the layout was not "reshaped".

The whole interior is built on a combination of different eras and styles. The main character of the kitchen-living room was an antique table, which is more than 120 years old. "The customers found the table themselves, informing about it at the first meeting. For the kitchen, we have selected hanging lamps that echo the shape of its legs," adds the author of the project.

Another wish of the owners was a black bathroom — they bought granite for it before the start of the project — and a blue bedroom. It turned out that the customers and the designer share a strong love for glass blocks — so a dark blue accent wall with a glass insert appeared behind the headboard of the bed. And in the teenager's room, they decided to decorate one of the walls with calligraphy.

Items from the owners' collection are an integral part of the interior. Some of them are placed in a rack in the living room, which the team of Peter Safiullin made to the right size. They also made a buffet in a gray shade for the project, on the shelves of which vintage dishes are beautifully arranged.
