The interior of the apartment, decorated in Scandinavian aesthetics, tends to asceticism and functionality. The atmosphere of Northern Europe is supported by cool shades of blue, graphite, green combined with black accents and natural wood.

The interior of the apartment in the residential complex "Lefortovo" is designed for a family of four: parents, an adult son and daughter. Two dogs and two cats live with them. The starting point was the aesthetics of scandi, as the owners wanted to get a comfortable, calm and even somewhat ascetic environment.

Redevelopment
There were three main tasks. First, it was necessary to make a large common space to spend time with family and friends who often visit the house. Secondly, to arrange comfortable private rooms for each family member. Thirdly, if possible, design functional separate utility rooms, including replacing cabinets with dressing rooms. We managed to implement all this.
Now the apartment has a mini-utility room and two small dressing rooms: the first in the son's room, the other immediately at the entrance. Thanks to the second dressing room, the hallway always looks "like after cleaning": no shoes, scarves, jackets hanging on open hangers at the entrance. Everything is hidden.

Repair
The apartment was rented by the developer without screed and partitions, but only with tracing (marking the possible location of the walls) one block high. To create a rough floor, self-leveling mixtures were used. Partitions were built of foam blocks with a thickness of 100 mm. The loggia was combined with the kitchen-living room to increase its area and let in more natural light (the connection of the loggia must be coordinated approx. editors of the site).

The ceilings were made of GKL. This is necessary for the installation of lamps and the placement of ventilation communications in the kitchen.
There are floor-to-ceiling French windows throughout the apartment. In three living rooms, built-in floor radiators were replaced with elegant vertical models with high heat dissipation.

Design
The interior, decorated in Scandinavian aesthetics, is distinguished by simple wall decoration, the absence of stucco and an abundance of decorative elements. The designer used mainly natural materials or their high-quality imitations. It is worth noting that at the beginning of the work such an abundance of color in the apartment was not planned. However, thanks to the thorough coordination of all materials and the complete trust of the owners, the result pleased everyone, even the parents of the customer, despite their rather conservative taste.
In the son's room, part of the wall is decorated with an engineering board to visually spread out places of rest and study (work). Different wall decoration is a must-have for the younger generation, because thanks to it, fans of taking photos and videos for social networks get several locations in one room.

The wall of the main shower is lined with embossed ceramic tiles WOW Stripes, which fully justifies its name. Thanks to her, the sky-blue walls are dotted with streaks of light and shadow. The effect is enhanced by vertically falling artificial light.

The windows of the master bedroom face north, and there is not as much daylight in it as we would like. But it was this shadow arrangement that prompted the use of cool shades to emphasize the muted and the play of shadow and light.

Ceramic tiles with imitation wooden slats, as well as the rack-and-pinion facade of the cabinet under the sink in the shower in the master bedroom dilute the texture of the ceramic facing under the stone.

There is not a single chandelier in the apartment. Of the decorative lighting, only four hanging lamps in the kitchen-living room above the peninsula. The other lighting scenarios from work to local are tracks, spotlights and LED backlights.

Designer Claudia Luchenko, author of the project:
Almost every project has a solution, the implementation of which leads to the formation of new neural connections and takes a lot of time to find the contractor. In this case, the stumbling block was the "leg" for the kitchen peninsula. The area of the combined kitchen-living room allowed to place a full-fledged dining table. However, customers preferred the peninsula, the countertop of which is an extension of the working surface of the kitchen set. It was assumed that the base would be a support made of thick tinted plastic, but most manufacturers of kitchen furniture refused to order, saying that they did not produce such a thing. Only one company, where kitchen furniture was eventually purchased, advised to make a "leg" of glass in a metal frame. The design turned out to be optimal in functionality and design. The peninsula stands firmly on the base, which, with sufficient strength, looks airy and light. The glass is tinted, and the metal frame is painted black, as are many other details in this interior.
