The presence of a detailed technical task, as it turned out, almost complicates the work of the designer more than its absence. Nadia Kiselnikova's customers were a family with mature views and a clear understanding of their desires. "They refused to redevelop and wanted an interior exclusively in a modern style with contrasting and bright color accents. The proposed neoclassical at first caused rejection, but a clear justification of the composition and each subject, inclined the customers to agree with my choice," says Nadia.

The design concept of the apartment swirled around gray-olive, emerald and gold shades. The ashen granite wall behind the TV cabinet added texture and marked the character of the living room. Shining metal details diluted the soft tones and brought a little glamour. Velvet emerald chairs added brightness to the white dining area adjacent to the living room. "It has become a favorite place of the owners in the apartment, where the head of the family plays chess, and the hostess reads books," Nadia adds.

The organization of the hall was complicated by seven entrances and a lack of daylight. To fix this, Nadia removed the opening between the kitchen and the hallway. This technique made it possible to combine the rooms compositionally into one whole, filling the space with air and light. The correct selection of the color and shape of the doors, the rejection of bulky furniture, an interesting ceramic "carpet" in the floor decoration visually increased the volume of the hallway.

A soft wall instead of a standard headboard defined the style of the entire bedroom and created a special atmosphere of comfort. At first, this idea caused the owners a fright, but everything turned out well: Nadia chose a suitable ashy shade, a beautiful rectangular shape and the texture of the "pillows". It's nice to lean on such a headboard while reading or watching your favorite movie right in bed.

"The renovation proceeded smoothly, and a few months later the couple moved into a new house. They were happy to see how the apartment was transformed, became more spacious and deeper. At the moment, we are planning to repair the cottage with them," says Nadia.
