The project's customers are a married couple with a school—age child. The couple purchased two apartments in their favorite area — near Petrovsky Park, and turned to the architect Elizabeth Medvedeva with a request to combine them into one. "The main wish of the family was to create a timeless interior that will not become outdated, but will become more interesting every year, filled with new objects and details," says the author of the project.

From two apartments — one and two-room — it turned out to create a very spacious and comfortable space. On 133 sq.m there is a kitchen-living room, an office, a children's room, a master bedroom with a dressing room and two bathrooms.

"In the design of the space, we abandoned complex techniques, pretentious solutions," the architect continues. — Everything is simple and clear in a good way. This made it possible to create the feeling of a real family home, open to guests and pleasant to live in."

The color scheme is based on a combination of calm beige, gray and brown shades, which dilute the subtle inclusions of orange and blue. The liveliness of the interior is given by prints and ornaments with oriental notes, as well as expressive textures of wood and brick.

Despite the apparent simplicity, the space is filled with unusual details. For example, the main decoration of the kitchen was a sliding vintage table with carved legs, at which the whole family can easily gather. In the bedroom, all the attention is attracted by the chandelier, hand-painted by the artist Ekaterina Utkina.
"We are sure that over time, there will only be more interesting and valuable items in the house for the owners, and they will fit perfectly into the existing environment."
