This apartment was intended for rental and for temporary residence of the customer's relatives. It is located in the classic "Stalinka" in the center of Minsk. The layout was appropriate: two living rooms, a small kitchen and a long narrow corridor. Architect Natalia Garo decided to divide the entire space into two main zones — public and private. The kitchen, the corridor and one of the rooms turned into a spacious living-dining room. In the private part there is a bedroom and a dressing room.

The appearance of the future interior was formed gradually and sometimes the apartment itself suggested some solutions. "During the dismantling work, we found burnt fragments of masonry. The house was built immediately after the war, so the bricks left over from dilapidated buildings were used. Its terracotta shade appeared in the design of the kitchen, and in the hallway we decided to leave the brick walls open at all. The choice of the shape and color of the floor tiles was also not accidental. During the renovation, we discovered part of the original floor made of hexagonal Metlakh tiles of graphite shade," says architect Natalia Garo.

The time of construction of the house also partly dictated the choice of furnishings. The sofa and the bed on elegant legs refer to the design of the Soviet era. "Once a relative of the customer lived in the apartment. We inherited three chairs from her, which we restored and painted in the colors of the interior."
