The owner of this apartment is an art collector who moved to New York at the height of the pandemic. The woman quickly chose her future home. It turned out to be a two-bedroom apartment in the Greenwich Village area. For her reconstruction, the hostess invited designer Sandra Weingort (Sandra Weingort).

The main problem of the old apartment interior was the abundance of different shades of gray. He was perceived as disharmonious as possible. In addition, poor lighting contributed to this. Sandra Weingort repainted all the rooms in various shades of white and beige, and replaced the lamps with vintage ones.

Vintage became the starting point for creating a holistic look of the apartment. Vaingort picked up a collection of furniture pieces from the middle of the last century from French, Brazilian and Scandinavian designers in the interior, harmoniously combining them with modern samples, including her own works.

Especially for the owner of the apartment, art consultant Alex Glauber from AWG Art Advisory picked up a collection of works of art: from abstract, colorful paintings by Ellsworth Kelly and Josef Albers to playful pop art by John Wesley and Ed Ruscha. In addition, the apartment features works by young artists Cecily Brown and Mark Grotjahn.
