The law is not written for artists. That is why artistic dwellings always amaze with the freedom of combinations and interpretations, blurring the line between the ordinary and the amazing, between everyday life and artistic, carefully thought-out space. Apartment of the Danish photographer and film director Erik Zappon (Erik Zappon) — one of such projects.

At the age of 14, Eric moved into a small room in the attic of a house at the beginning of the XX century. Over time, he managed to expand the dwelling by attaching part of the premises below the level and the attic and eventually received a four-story loft, in which they now live with his wife and children. In the interior design, Zappon masterfully combines elements of the loft style with the classic Scandinavian style for Denmark. Functional areas are well planned, while there are no unnecessary partitions.

The apartment has only three doors that lead to the bathroom, toilet and bedroom. Personal space borders and harmoniously coexists with the working area - the home office area. At one end of the apartment there is a large hall with a kitchen, dining room and living room, in which the focal point is a fireplace. Its portal is decorated with picturesque boulders. At the other end of the loft there is a reception room, a living room and an office. A wooden staircase leads to the console floor, where the bedroom is located.

The furniture and accessories chosen by Zappon deserve special attention. In the setting, you can also see the iconic Le Corbusier sofa (La Corbusier), namely the LC2 model produced by Cassina, and unusual modern lamps from Moooi. The classic Zanotta table from Carlo Mollino looks great next to the laconic Rin™ chairs from Fritz Hansen. Complementing the decor with original accessories and art objects, Zappon created a fashionable space. All the objects together look simply magical, destroying the classical ideas about the combined and incongruous in the interior.
