The room with an area of 482 m2 is located in a building of the XIX century in the historical center of Rostov-on-Don. "Previously, there was a medical center with fifty offices and four corridors," the designers of the ArchBlack bureau say.

There are twenty different zones planned in the office for rest and work.

"First of all, everything that could be demolished was demolished — the suspended ceiling and partitions were removed, five KAMAZ trucks of construction debris were taken out. And finally we saw a free space and twenty-five luxurious arched windows!"

"Metal beams and a surface lined with a profiled sheet were found behind the suspended ceiling. It was simply painted bright blue, making it the main color accent of the interior."

Geometric compositions of carpets are homage to the project authors' works of Russian abstract artists.

The task was to create a space where a person can work anywhere, not just at his desk"

"Since the room is removable and the budget is small, we tried to do everything as quickly as possible, using existing finishing details. The plastered walls were restored, tiles from the previous tenant were left on the floor. Thanks to the gray color, it looked neutral and did not spoil the overall picture."

Almost all the furniture is welded, it was designed by the ArchBlack bureau and made under the supervision of the office staff themselves.

"We think it's unfair to make small office kitchens!"

"Almost 20% of the total space (83 m2) was given to the kitchen and bar. In the warmer months, this area expands due to the veranda. The walls in the kitchen used to be sheathed with drywall, under which a beautiful texture of old plaster was found. We left it, painted the ceiling in graphite and added neon."

"In general, it turned out to be a bright green space with different areas for work and recreation. Free movement around the office promotes good communication between employees, and bright color accents create a creative atmosphere." ArchBlack Bureau, www.arch.black , @archblack
