1 Textured wall behind the headboard
One of the most spectacular techniques of bedroom decoration, which gives the impression that a designer worked on the interior, is an accent area behind the headboard. At the same time, the more complex this accent is, the more interesting and expensive it looks. A simple plain wall, painted in a contrasting color, is already difficult to surprise someone. In this project, for example, an alternation of soft and wooden decorative panels was used. It turned out an interesting and original rhythm, which, coupled with contrasting colors, immediately attracts the eye.
How to repeat
The secret of the accent wall in this project is vertical lines. The different colors and materials of the panels do not look disjointed, because visually they are just stripes of different widths. At the same time, this technique visually raises the ceiling.
2 Dressing table
Another sign of the designer's work on the interior is the harmonious filling of small voids. Usually, the space on the sides of the bed is left as it is or two identical bedside tables are placed there. If you create an asymmetry and place a dressing table on the side of the window, the bedroom will look more interesting.
How to repeat
It is important to choose a model that will be combined with the overall style of the interior. In a minimalistic space, as in the photo, a classic table with carved curved legs would hardly look appropriate. Therefore, the designer chose a laconic hanging console and hung a large round mirror over it.
3 Accent chandelier
A simple trick for a small bedroom is an accent chandelier. It can be hung up, even when the repair has long been behind and you just want to update the interior. The unusual shape and large size of the lamp create a sense of design approach, even if in fact the chandelier was inexpensive.
How to repeat
Choose a volumetric lamp that will hang at least a little from the ceiling. At the same time, it is not necessary to place it strictly in the center of the room: it is better to move it towards the bed, this will strengthen the accent and attract more attention. Even better, if the chandelier will echo with something in the room. For example, in this project it seems that the lamp is made of small white petals, and there is just wallpaper with floral motifs behind the headboard of the bed.
4 Photo Wallpapers
Properly selected wallpaper is a budget and simple way to make a bedroom many times more interesting than just plain walls. At the same time, do not forget about the rhythm and alternation: for example, part of the wall can be painted with plain paint, as in this project, then place a narrow wooden panel and only then the wallpaper itself.
How to repeat
To make the interior look interesting and original, give up banal images: world-famous landmarks, imitation pop art, etc. When choosing a plot, you can start from the style of the interior. For example, any natural motifs will be appropriate in scandi: images of a misty forest, fields, mountains.
5 Carpet under the bed
Another simple way to make the bedroom visually more complete and thoughtful is to lay a large carpet under the bed literally in one day. Let it go beyond its edges by at least 30-40 cm . This will immediately emphasize the sleeping area and at the same time make the interior visually more expensive.
How to repeat
Choose a carpet that contrasts with the floor. For example, in this project, a dark wood coating was used, so light textiles stand out vividly against its background. At the same time, different textures appear in the space, which makes it more interesting.
