"I always try to find a balance between aesthetics and functionality"
The planning solution was successful — a spacious room (its area is more than sixty square meters) was ideal for a kitchen-living room. To make it look exactly as the owners of the apartment wanted — bright and harmonious — Natalia picked up a warm shade of white for the walls.

Natalia diluted the background white with gray in the kitchen furniture and black in the island countertop. A gray-green sofa and a matching carpet enliven the calm color scheme. High ceilings and active stucco create a light French accent, dark window frames look like picture frames — they contain beautiful views of Moscow roofs and Moscow City.

Kitchen-dining room. Kitchen set London, FM Bottega. Filigree Molteni &C dining table. Chairs, Gubi. Chandelier over the dining table, Serip. There is a vase on the dining table, Levadnaja Ceramics. The bedroom turned out to be very small, only twelve meters, and Natalia made an unexpected decision for her customers to paint it in graphite color. According to the designer, it took some effort to convince them of the correctness of such a step.

As a result, everything turned out as well as possible: the boundaries of the room blurred, it no longer seemed small. The black walls and ceiling made it very cozy, intimate — but not cramped. Here are a couple of Natalia's tips for those who decide to make a black bedroom at home:
A ceiling in shadow always seems darker than it is. Therefore, it is necessary to lighten the ceiling paint by several tones so that the walls and ceiling look identical.

Mirrors located to the right and left of the headboard also "work" to expand the space of the room. One of the mirrors is a door leading to a small bathroom, lined with large—format ceramic granite of dark gray color.

The children's rooms are placed in a separate part of the apartment. The girl's bedroom is made in delicate, powdery tones, which give her young mistress a feeling of peace and comfort. Aged mirrors on the sides of the headboard add light to the room, but they do it very unobtrusively and delicately.

Daughter's room. Hilton bed, Estetica. Bed linen and bedspread Atelier Tati. Bedside table, Ferm living. Vase on the bedside table Decoupage, Vitra. The bookcase and desk are custom-made by Soul Wood. Chair, Dantone Home. On the desk there is a vase, Sand vintage, and a table lamp, l'appartement. The Roman curtain is made by Artique. In the room of the daughter of the owners of the apartment, as in all the others, classics meets modernity, artificially aged mirrors — with a vase designed by the Burulek brothers for Vitra. The vase consists of a cylindrical vessel and a set of abstract rods and clay slabs that are attached to the cylinder in different places.

In the room of the owners' son, who studies in junior school, the designer deliberately moved away from "childishness". "Everything is strict and masculine here," she says. "The room looks more like a study than a nursery."

My son's room. Greenwich Sofa, Dantone Home. Coffee table Menu. Desk and chair, Valentina. Table lamp La Forma, Natsumi. There is a sculpture of Lev Efimov on the desk. Above the sofa is the work of John Peshkov, Riva Gallery. Chandelier, Crystorama. Carpet, Kultura Kovrov.

The hallway seems to tell us what to expect from this apartment: all the basic tones used in the interior are present here. We are greeted by a chess tile made of black and white marble, gray-blue and pearl walls and a console made of polished wood, on which modern black-and-white photographs have found a place.

The designer gave the bathroom a light touch of retro. White wall tiles, the shape of wall lamps and the model of the sink take us back to the Art Deco era - in our country these are the thirties of the last century.

The customers asked the designer not to overload the rooms with objects, so all the storage systems that can be seen in this interior are built—in and not too bulky. Storage is concentrated in the laundry room and a spacious dressing room, built according to the laws of the neoclassical interior: respectability, spaciousness and symmetry.
