The customer turned to the designer Tatiana Minina with a request to arrange an apartment for rent. It is located on Lobachevsky Street, not far from Moscow State University, so the interior was primarily created for a student or a young couple. The space had to be spectacular, bright and, of course, comfortable.

The apartment was with a free layout and was originally conceived as a one-bedroom, but the designer decided to make it a studio with a separate sleeping area. The bed is located on the podium and hidden behind a curtain. If desired, the curtain can be opened, and the podium can be supplemented with pillows and used as a banquette.

The kitchen-living room space was visually enlarged by removing the balcony window sill and installing a double swing door with glass in the floor. The granite countertop of the kitchen smoothly turns into a window sill and turns into a convenient place to work. To the left of it is a spacious bookcase, which additionally zones the space.

Despite the rather modest area (47 sq.m.), the apartment has a full-fledged dressing room at the entrance, as well as a large spacious closet in the hallway. In addition, it was possible to organize a separate laundry room on the site of the former bathroom.

Since the apartment was designed for a young audience, Tatiana decided to use bold colors. The concrete walls and ceiling are painted in terracotta, and the designer chose a glossy self-leveling coating of a blue shade for the floor.

Cabinets, IKEA.
