"The interior of these apartments in Sochi was created for an energetic modern couple from Moscow. Here the couple planned to spend a vacation without children and guests — to enjoy the view of the sea, sitting by the fireplace in comfortable armchairs in the living room," says Elena Paunich.

"Initially, the apartments were a square concrete box with panoramic windows and marked wet areas. We decided to leave the space as open as possible. The kitchen is separated from the living room by a dining island, and the bedroom is located behind a sliding partition. Near the bed there is a light shelf made of frosted glass, thanks to which natural light from the room gets into the corridor."

The kitchen is made to order according to the architect's sketches.

"In the decoration of the walls, we managed to connect several types of materials — veneer, marble, mirror — and achieve harmony in color and texture. It's funny that initially, instead of marble, we planned to use large-format porcelain stoneware, but when miscalculated, it turned out to be difficult and expensive in execution, and natural stone, on the contrary, came out cheaper."

"Mirrors have become one of the key elements of the interior. In the bedroom, the wall behind the headboard is decorated with a mirrored rack panel, which gives the space volume and depth. Also, the front part of the dining island is decorated with mirrors, which makes the construction in which household appliances are hidden seem easier."

"The most expressive accent in the interior is two armchairs in bright saffron upholstery. They were quite able to become a full-fledged replacement for the sofa and allowed to create several "scenarios of life" within one living room. The chairs can be turned towards the fireplace and panoramic windows or towards the TV area, which is equipped with a fully functional sound panel."

"Porcelain stoneware for the bathroom was very painstakingly selected — it was important to bring a variety of textures into the interior and at the same time not overload the small space. The shower room is equipped with a system for aroma and color therapy."
