The E.L.F. Interior team has created a bright, bold interior that reflects the spirit of old Moscow. The project is described by its authors — designers Elena Gladkova and Marianna Ostrovskaya

The owner of the apartment always wanted to live in the center, so when the children grew up and left, she and her husband also decided to move. The couple presented their new home as respectable and cozy, but not strict. The customer admitted that she always loved color, but was embarrassed to use it both in clothes and in the interior, and now she wants bright colors. Also among the wishes was a spacious dressing room and arched doors — an old dream of the customer.

Console, Boca da Lobo. The bookcases are made to order in the Paradisine Home workshop.

The apartment is located in a Stalinist house built in 1939. The walls and floors were in poor condition, so everything had to be dismantled. We made a new lightweight screed and erected drywall partitions with sound insulation inside. At the same time, the layout remained almost the same, we only combined the bathroom with a bathroom and gave part of the bedroom for a dressing room.

Hallway. Custom doors in the carpentry workshop "Paradise Home". Mirror, Eichholtz.

In an effort to preserve the character of the Stalinist apartment, we took classical elements as a basis and supplemented them with modern solutions. For example, in the living room, the ceiling moldings are adjacent to laconic black tracks and a chandelier. The color in the interior is brought by paintings with red details and a blue sofa.

Kitchen. Dining table, Cattelan. Chairs, Thonet. The mosaic is made to order according to the sketches of designers.

The kitchen is somewhat reminiscent of a Parisian cafe. The walls are painted light beige, and there is a bright mosaic on the floor. A small dining table is surrounded by Thonet chairs in fuchsia, and above it is a retro-style lamp and a painting with a mysterious lady that evokes associations with Akhmatova. The kitchen set, made in a noble emerald shade, occupies the entire possible area. We placed the sink near the window to increase the work surface, and the upper cabinets were made ceiling-high.

The bed, Ditre. Chair, Laskasas. Chandelier, Visual Comfort.

In the bedroom, we wanted to play with classic elements and try to use them in a new way. So, a truncated ceiling socket appeared behind the headboard of the bed. The rich blue shade of the walls gave the interior a grandeur and at the same time helped to create a more intimate atmosphere. At the exit to the French balcony there is a green armchair in which you can slowly drink morning coffee, admiring the view of the Garden Ring and the Bulgakov Museum.

Lamp, Marset.

In the bathroom we placed a spacious shower room with an arched glass partition and highlighted it with a very beautiful wine tile. Cabinet furniture turned out to be quite concise. One of the walls is completely occupied by a storage system, which houses a washing machine and dryer, a small pantry of household equipment and a closet in which a gas column is hidden.
