"The customer of the project is a very pleasant woman of respectable age with a very active lifestyle. She has traveled almost all over the world and continues to do so. Most of the time the customer lives in a private house, but due to constant business in Minsk, she had to buy an apartment where she can stay from time to time after work. Also here the hostess plans to gather with friends so as not to go out of town. The main requirements for the interior were simplicity and a sense of tranquility," says architect Natalie Epstein.

"The apartment was with a free layout, and at first the customer was quite conservative and wanted to divide everything with walls. But I managed to persuade her to leave the space more open. On 76 sq.m. we have placed a spacious kitchen-living room with a dining area and a pantry, a bedroom, an entrance hall and a bathroom."

"The hostess loves nature, so when choosing colors and materials, we started from the image of the lake. So warm shades of sand, juicy greens of water lilies and natural wood appeared in the interior. The facades of cabinets are decorated with wooden slats, due to which sufficiently voluminous storage systems dissolve in space. The same thing happens with the sliding door to the pantry, which, thanks to the slats, is perceived as a textured wall panel."

"We have supplemented the kitchen with a functional apron with a hidden place for storing dishes or some necessary trifles. The hostess is not tall, so this technological solution turned out to be very convenient for her."

"The bedroom has an irregular shape and non-parallel walls. To hide this and make the room more harmonious, we decorated one of the walls with a panel with floral motifs, and hung a mirror on it. Thus, we aligned the corner and joined the two walls. Another decoration of the room was the bas-relief above the sofa, which I made especially for the project."
