Designer Ekaterina Astapova from Balcon Studio has created a modern interior with a relaxing atmosphere of sunny Italy

"The project's customers, a married couple with a child, came to our studio and immediately said they wanted to work with me," says designer Ekaterina Astapova. — The main task was to organize all the necessary functional areas: a bedroom with a bathroom, a separate nursery, a large kitchen-living room and an entrance area, including a hall and a shared bathroom. At the same time, the owners asked to place an island and a dining area in the kitchen, and a large sofa in the living room. And, of course, it was necessary to provide enough storage space."

"The apartment was rented with a free layout — the developer only outlined the contour of the mines and wet zones. In general, the space was quite easy to work with. The only difficulty was the lack of space: in order to realize all the wishes of customers, we had to remove the balcony blocks."

"The spouse of the hostess is from Italy, and they both love everything connected with this country. I also adore Italy and am often inspired by Italian design and architecture, so the choice of style was obvious. The interior is built on a combination of white and olive green and is filled with natural textures."
