"The customers, a young married couple with a child, asked to create a light, not overloaded with details interior. At the same time, they did not want to go completely into minimalism, so we settled on a modern style with classic elements and characteristic features of Northern European design," the authors of the project say.

"The primary task was to create the most convenient, functional layout. The apartment is located in the corner radius of the house and resembles a piece of pizza on the plan. The unusual shape of the space largely determined the choice of decorative techniques in interior design."

"One of the requests of the customers was to separate the living room from the rest of the rooms, which is why a fairly long corridor appeared in the apartment. To make it more light and airy, we placed a wide shelving with a glass back panel between it and the living room. So we solved not only a functional problem, but also a decorative one. During the day, the blurred shadows of books and decorative items on the shelves enliven the interior of the entrance area, and in the evening, a chandelier in the hallway fills the living room with soft muted light."

"We decided to divide the elongated bedroom, which was close to a triangle in shape, into two parts. To do this, the most common technique was used — two zones were painted in contrasting colors: blue and white. Thanks to such a simple solution, the room looks more harmonious."

"The interior turned out to be quite concise, but not boring. All thanks to the accent details that are in every room. In the kitchen-living room, attention is attracted by the marble island, which turns into a dining island. The customer and I were very meticulous about choosing slabs and fitting the pattern, trying to make sure that the number of dark and white spots was in a certain proportion. The center of the hallway has become an elegant lamp that looks more like an art object."
