Bright interior of a small apartment in Milan

Chromastudio designers filled the space of a small Milan apartment with shades of coniferous forest, terracotta and sky

The customer of the project, a young successful girl, wanted to create a practical and at the same time hospitable interior. Having studied her habits and tastes, including her favorite colors, Chromastudio studio chose a soft and harmonious palette combining shades of green, terracotta and blue. With the help of color, the designers delimited the main zones and visually increased the space, proving that a small apartment can be bright, functional and cozy.

The main role in the living room is played by two shades of green, which outline the boundaries of the space with a wide stripe. According to the designers, green helps to lower blood pressure and creates a sense of calm, which makes it an ideal solution for a common area.

The kitchen is the heart of the house, enclosed in a chromatic "cube". It is the main place for receiving guests and socializing surrounded by terracotta tones that energize and increase appetite.

The entrance area is decorated with Elisir wallpaper from Wall & decor, which soften the hard lines of the narrow corridor. For the same purpose, the designers used corrugated gypsum panels. Vertical lines divide the space into several parts and create an interesting play of light and shadow. A similar technique is repeated in the bathroom, but with wooden slats that serve as a partition between the bed and the sink.
