The owners of the apartment are a young modern couple with a child and a cat. At the very beginning of the work, they clearly divided the responsibilities among themselves: she made design decisions, and he was responsible for the functionality, the engineering part and the smart home.
"In terms of functionality, the wishes were quite standard: on an area of 100 sq.m, we needed to organize a kitchen-living room, a nursery and a bedroom with a dressing room. But the design had to be bold and unusual," says Valeria Stennikova, head of Insomnia studio. — The customer loves bright colors and treats interior design as an art. She was not afraid of experiments and trusted us very much in the design and implementation process. As a result, we all enjoyed our work and were satisfied with the result."

The interior is built on the contrast of shades, shapes and textures. In the main space, the restrained graphite kitchen with a scarlet "filling" attracts all the attention. Next to it is a cozy dining area with a large wooden table and a "floating" bench, which is part of the window sill. The accent in the living room area was a bright chair printed on a 3D printer made of recycled plastic, and curtains with blots embroidered on them.

"The size of the apartment did not allow us to allocate space for a separate dressing room, so we organized it in the bedroom," the author of the project continues. — Storage spaces are hidden behind milled panels that merge with the wall surface. We decorated the swing doors on the inside with mirrors. The same panels go to the balcony, where they hide a plastic door to the compartment with outdoor air conditioning units."

In the design of the master bathroom, the designers used glass blocks. Built into a part of the wall adjacent to the corridor, they create an interesting lighting effect both in the hallway and in the bathroom itself. "In the second bathroom, we also focused on the light. The multicolored lighting above the bathroom instantly changes the mood throughout the space. And the five-year-old son of the owners really likes her."
