The customers wanted a cottage to spend time in the warm season, but it turned out so cozy that they decided to move from a city apartment to a house for good. The owners of the house love nature, travel, and active recreation. Our tastes coincided immediately, I can say that I learned from the customer a love for wood, textures and subsequently found such materials for finishing that I had not noticed before.

The bolder my ideas were, the more joyfully they were accepted by customers. We replaced some finishing materials during the construction process, as I discovered a Belgian Atmosphere & Boise black wall board, this board is finished with the walls of the volume that passes into the kitchen. At first, the customer was afraid to use such a rough material in such a volume, but I convinced her, and when we completed the installation of the board, everyone was satisfied with the result. It looked very harmonious, natural and became a feature of the first floor.

The green color with an azure shade appeared in the interior after the customer found a painting by the Belgian artist Dirk Victor Caluwearts and bought it for her house. When we realized that we had a similar color on the Minotti carpet in the living room, we matched the fabric for the pillows, and everything fell into place. A complex shade of green has become an implicit accent in the interior.

In the kitchen, along the windows, I put an island with a bar, which offers a beautiful view of nature and the plot, since we enlarged the windows and let nature into the interior as much as possible. In the dining area there is a large table from Riva1920 made of solid wood with a metal base, eight people can sit behind it.

The first floor of the house is a single space of the kitchen, living room and dining room, which is crossed by a staircase with glass railings. Marches on a single carrier graphite braid look stylish and technologically, but at the same time easy.

The hall on the second floor became a library thanks to the Ozzio rack with thin metal shelves and wooden inserts. The hostess of the house loves to read and for her we have organized a comfortable reading area on the ground floor with a couch and a directional floor lamp.

The most important thing in the project is that it managed to combine several types and colors of wood and not to disturb the harmony of a timber house, to make a traditional country house in a modern sound. We have collected pieces of furniture from all over the world, there are cult objects of factories with a century-old history and products of young companies. I've always wanted to create an interior that would be interesting to look at.

In the bathroom, the space under the natural slope of the roof was successfully used, where a bath-bowl was installed. There was also enough space for a separate shower cabin. Thanks to the large-format ceramics, the wall looks like a single slab. We focused on the coffee color of Cielo sanitary ware, to which we selected the color of the rest of the fittings.
