Casa Cabana, a brand of furniture and accessories launched by the editor-in-chief of Cabana magazine Martin Mondadori, has released a new collection of decorative poufs and pillows. The objects were designed by Milanese designers Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci from the famous Dimoremilano studio.
Famous masters of creating eclectic mixes and vintage atmosphere, Moran and Salchi came up with textiles with a collage pattern evoking the ornaments of the 1980s. The central role in the collection is played by the Push It Two fabric, in which the designers combined a catchy red and white stripe and a checkerboard in beige tones. The surreal neighborhood of such dissimilar drawings looks especially expressive in 3D format: Dado poufs are covered with textiles entirely, and metal slats at the corners only enhance the optical effect.
Another abstract ornament in the collection is made up of many bright triangles. Its nostalgic graphics and palette are in harmony with the retro design of Babele poufs: their frame of bent tubes resembles the cult models of the 1970s. The Dado and Babele poufs are available in two sizes, and the designers offer matching pillows to complement them. The series also includes three types of decorative Ozio pillows: Sancarlo with an embroidered classic pattern on a salmon background, pink-beige W&F, similar to an old plastered wall, and Matzinga with contrasts of black and gold blocks.
