The main source of inspiration for designer Natalia Kosareva was the work of the Soviet painter Robert Falk

The project's customers, a young couple with a two-year-old child and a cat, wanted to create a simple "light" interior using inexpensive eco-friendly materials. "The house in Solnechnogorsk was primarily conceived as a place to relax, so the owner wanted to plunge into the memories of a carefree childhood, when he spent all his summer holidays in the village with his grandmother," says designer Natalia Kosareva. — During the construction of the house, an exhibition of Robert Falk was held in Moscow, where the customer saw the painting "The Sun. Crimea. Goats“ and sent it to me as a reference. It has become the main reference point when choosing shades and textures."

The house is relatively small — 100 sq.m. Almost half of the area is occupied by a kitchen-living room with high windows that look at the forest. "To connect the interior and the landscape outside the window, we chose a mint shade for the walls. It echoes the color of moss on tree trunks and at the same time refers to Falk's canvas — the artist painted the sky with a similar shade. Also in the living room there is a sofa in mint upholstery, and above it hangs a round mirror in which the forest is reflected. All this together creates a feeling of lightness in the interior."

Another important element of the living room was the fireplace, which emphasizes the elegant painting by the artist Anastasia Malinovskaya. "Initially, the house was conceived as a summer cottage, but then we decided to put a fireplace. Now customers come here in winter to relax and sit by the fire."

In general, the decor of the house turned out to be quite concise. Modern furniture furniture harmoniously combines with vintage items. "The hostess likes to restore furniture, she made some chairs for the project herself," the designer adds.
In addition, the interior can be easily supplemented with new details. For example, the kitchen has an open compartment for ceramics, and above the sofa and bed there are shelves that can be decorated with paintings, photographs and things dear to the heart.
