This apartment is located in a new residential complex with a view of the river and the towers of Moscow City. The owner initially planned to rent it out and primarily focused on employees of nearby business centers. The apartment was supposed to be a place to recover after a busy working day, and K+K interior studio was tasked with creating a calm functional interior within a reasonable budget.

"The customer wanted to keep the layout and pre—finishing from the developer, but after evaluating the potential of the apartment, we offered more profitable solutions," say designers Kristina Timchuk and Anastasia Koval. — First of all, we removed the door between the kitchen-living room and the corridor, so that the city panorama opens immediately from the hallway. The entrance to the bedroom was moved from the corridor to the living room, and a laundry closet was placed on the vacant area. A niche in the same corridor was made part of the shower. There are shelves for storage in it."

"To create the most relaxing atmosphere, we chose calm natural tones that blend harmoniously with the light background of the walls. Natural textures and textured surfaces give a special comfort: wood of different shades, granite with a terrazzo pattern, tiles with imitation handmade and soft textiles."

The heart of the apartment has become a kitchen-living room. The space is divided by a bar counter, which simultaneously serves as an additional kitchen work surface and a dining table. The counter is located directly in front of the window, so you can enjoy the beautiful views during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Next to the window there is a cozy sitting area with a sofa and pillows on the windowsill. Both parts of the room are illuminated by an independent group of ceiling lamps and entourage lighting.

The center of the bedroom was occupied by a bed made in a refreshing light green shade. There is a built-in backlight behind the soft headboard, which emphasizes the "crumpled" texture of the wallpaper. The designers decorated the windows with thick curtains that block the light from street lamps and the morning sun. During the day, the sun's rays penetrate into the room through light linen curtains, leaving beautiful shadows on the walls and the bed.

The team decorated the bathroom with ceramic granite, which passes from the floor to the wall, and "kabanchik" tiles. The plumbing cabinet was hidden behind simple "Ikea" doors. In the bathroom there is a comfortable shower room with a seat and shelves made of granite built into a niche.
