"This apartment belongs to a married couple who decided to move to Peterhof after going on a well-deserved vacation. Customers lead an active lifestyle: they travel, spend time with their grandchildren, and often host guests. And the new house had to match the interests, tastes and hobbies of each family member," says designer Natalia Bochina.

"The apartment is surrounded by picturesque parks and palaces, and the house itself repeats the look of a demolished pre-revolutionary building. We wanted to reflect the atmosphere of the place, adding a bit of grandeur to the atmosphere."

"Each room has its own character, but at the same time the whole space looks harmonious and integral. We visually separated the entrance area with a carpet made of tiles made at a tiny factory in St. Petersburg. Wardrobes thanks to mirrored facades seem almost weightless and visually expand the boundaries of the corridor. Mirrors behind the sofa in the kitchen appeared because of gas meters. Equipment is hidden behind one of the facades, and the rest serve as a sideboard for porcelain and crystal."

"Another accent detail in the kitchen-living room was a panel depicting a misty forest. It gives depth to the space. The bedroom is also decorated with wallpaper in light green tones, but with the legendary William print Morris (William Morris). And the cabinet was decorated with a painting by the artist Anastasia Mikhailova."

"At the time of the project, the owners lived in another city. It was assumed that they would come from time to time and participate in the selection of finishing materials, furniture and decor. But the pandemic made its own adjustments — customers saw the apartment live already when they moved. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise."
