"The apartment is relatively small — only 42 sq.m., so I wanted to make the space as open and "light" as possible," says Elena Yaushkina. — We separated the hallway with a doorway and organized a mezzanine there for storing oversized items. The kitchen is in the same place and flows smoothly into the living room. The bed is located in a niche, there is a spacious wardrobe to the side of it. In small—sized apartments, the main thing is not to "clog" the entire space with furniture. We tried to make sure that each item was meaningful and perfectly fit into the environment."

The panel was created by the artist Lyubov Gushchikhina according to the sketches of the designer. Art object, Cono.

"The ceiling height is about 3 meters, and we tried to preserve it as much as possible. To make the ceiling look uniform, we abandoned large chandeliers and preferred gypsum lamps.
Since the apartment is located in the house of 1958, the dismantling also affected the windows. Instead of the standard white frames, we decided to make light green ones. In general, the apartment is close to the forest landscape in terms of color combinations."

"In my projects, I often go from some kind of natural image and gradually develop it. The main decoration of the interior was a plaster panel over the sofa. It appeared after walking in the Pavlovsk Park. There, near the river, grows a picturesque oak tree. In the shadow of its crown, atmospheric photos are always obtained, I drew one of them with lines and added volume."

"The bathroom also has a natural theme. The rectangular space was harmonized with a large round mirror and semicircular niches above the bathroom. There are also different lighting scenarios in the room. For relaxation and taking a bath, accent lighting inside niches is suitable, for everyday use of space — ceiling light."

The cabinet with sink and shower enclosure are made to order, Peter Tishler. Mixers, Omnires. Vase and candlestick, Cono.
