It was with the design of Lily's apartment that the history of the Honestly Designed studio began. Maria helped a school friend to equip a new home, plunging into all the subtleties of interior design. Lilya discovered a new passion for herself, and Masha found the best business partner. Since then, the girls have been inseparable and create interiors with character in Minsk and Moscow.

The layout of Lily's apartment is arranged in such a way that one half is reserved for a large bathroom and bedroom, and the second half for everything else. "It was very important to accurately zone the space and effectively use every part of it, so that you did not have to sacrifice something and limit the possibilities of a full-fledged life," the authors of the project say.

The designers used the same floor covering in the entire space of the apartment with the exception of the "wet zone". This technique made it possible to combine the composition of the interior into one whole and visually increase the area.

The spacious bathroom required a special solution from the designers: it was important to beat two entrances — from the bedroom and hallway — and place everything you need. "It was a serious challenge, but in the end we managed to organize the space correctly by placing a large shower room, a bathtub and a laundry corner. Two entrances are a great reception that provides additional comfort," says Lilia.

The interior design is based on the concept of upcycling. "For example, the doors turned out to be unnecessary at another facility due to the unification of rooms, and there was a place for them here. They are quite high, which visually increases the height of the ceilings. The furniture in the dining area and most of the lamps got free of charge from people for whom they ceased to have value. Many of the decor items came from my parents' and grandmother's house. The marble on the apron and on the shower floor are remnants from projects that could not be returned to the supplier," Maria explains.

Bedroom. Vintage sconce of the 1960s. Vintage prints. Orange sconce, upcycle. "Curtains made of textiles bought with a voucher that Lilya won at the Espocada Design Week competition from the editor-in-chief of ELLE DECORATION Alexey Dorozhkin"

The color scheme cleverly combines complex colors: red and green, blue and terracotta. Soft, pleasant and not boring, together they create a special atmosphere of comfort, conducive to quiet rest and creativity.
