Architect Timur Sharipov designed a cozy interior where the hostess can relax and forget about daily worries

"The customer, the CEO of an international IT company, designed the apartment exclusively for herself. The hostess lives in a frenzied rhythm, and she wanted the situation in the new house to set her up in a calm, relaxed way. Our task was to create the most open and at the same time functional space filled with light, soft shades and natural textures. We worked on the project together with designer Olga Istomina, who was responsible for the selection of furniture," says architect Timur Sharipov.

"Since the apartments are designed for one person, we decided to abandon the blank walls. The kitchen-living room and bedroom are separated by a column lined with wall panels and transparent brass partitions. There is a dressing room attached to the bedroom, through which you can go to the main bathroom."

"The hostess rarely cooks, so we made the kitchen compact enough and hid it behind sliding doors. Opposite it is a utility cabinet with a sink and a washer-dryer, which closes according to the same principle. In general, we tried to hide all the utilitarian things — even the TV was built into the partition between the living room and the bedroom."

"We used only natural materials in the decoration. In the bedroom, the wall behind the headboard is decorated with nubuck panels with brass inserts. Their pattern is repeated on sliding partitions. Marble countertops and an apron made of the same stone became the main decoration of the kitchen."

"The main bathroom is decorated with green marble, which is combined with brass fittings. The hostess once saw this image in France. We didn't want to clutter up the space with unnecessary elements, and therefore, instead of a heated towel rail, we installed a "warm floor" in the wall and hung hooks."

"The guest bathroom is solved as catchily as possible. The front wall in it is occupied by a rose quartz slab with LED lighting. This stone was insanely liked by the customer in Italy at the marble production, where we specially went in the process of working on the apartment."
