The Alexander Tischler team designed this interior for an adult couple. The children already live separately and will come to visit their parents. In a small apartment, the owners wanted to make a separate bedroom, find a place for a desktop and organize as many storage spaces as possible.

"Odnushka" with an area of 38 square meters had a typical layout: a kitchen in a smaller room, and a living room in a larger one. Such a layout is inconvenient for living together, it will not be possible to allocate a private bedroom area in it, and the bed will inevitably stand in the living room. And if you give a large room completely under the bedroom, then the place for meetings and recreation will remain only in the kitchen.

In the bedroom to the right of the window there is a pylon finished with granite. In fact, it is a load-bearing pylon that sticks out unevenly from the wall: from above by 5 cm, from below by 1 cm. The authors of the project decided not to level the entire wall so as not to lose useful area, but only leveled the pylon itself, turning the flaw into a full-fledged decorative element. The granite on this pylon is the same as on the kitchen apron, which allows you to visually combine different rooms.

To make the apartment comfortable for the couple, the architects had to work thoroughly on the space. Since there is a living room under this apartment, it was impossible to go the easy way and swap the kitchen and bedroom. The existing legislation also prohibits moving the partition separating the kitchen and the bedroom.
"We have been consulting with specialists for a long time on the coordination of alterations," the authors of the project say, "and found a suitable solution. We divided the living room into two parts using a partition. A bedroom area was allocated near the window. We as a team believe that separating the area for the bed with partitions or curtains in the back of the living room and not bringing forced ventilation there is a crime."

The living room consists of three elements: a TV, a folding two-meter sofa and a niche shelf replacing a coffee table. The shelf is built into the cabinet, there are sockets in the back, and the backlight turns on with a wave of the hand. A module for storing books was provided above the shelf. Above the sofa is the work of Irina Zyuskina "Pavilion of the Uzbek SSR".

In the remaining part, they made a mini-living room with a two-meter folding sofa, a TV and a niche shelf, which is made right in the closet. Sliding doors made of frosted glass were installed to the left and right of the partition, so the light from the bedroom window will also pass into the living room. Two doors are necessary to make comfortable approaches to the bed, so residents do not have to climb over each other. When the doors are open, the rooms are combined again.

The living room is separated from the kitchen by double-depth cabinets.

The most unusual in this interior can be called a composition of a hinged cabinet and a bedside table. It was important for the owners to provide as much storage space as possible, so there are two such compositions, they are located on both sides of the bed in the bedroom. A large wardrobe is mounted on the wall, inside there is a rod for hanging clothes and a couple of drawers for laundry. Facades open by pressing. A backlight was installed under the hanging cabinet, it replaces bedside lamps.
Another unusual element of this apartment is a closet separating the kitchen and living room. It was made of double depth: behind the rods there are deep shelves on the corridor side. And on the side of the living room there is a module for books and a shelf-niche with illumination, which replaces the coffee table.

The apartment was divided into clear functional areas and the same color for furniture and decoration was chosen for everyone. If all the rooms were in different colors, then an already small apartment would look fragmented, and due to one color, the space is united. But at the same time, with the help of shades, the boundaries of the zones were marked: the wall behind the sofa was made darker, a dark beige finish with a wood texture was selected for kitchen pencil cases.

Another functional solution was implemented in the kitchen — they got rid of the L-shaped exit to the loggia, now there are hinged glass doors there. A workplace was organized on the loggia and small cabinets were made for important papers and books. Work chair, IKEA. Vase, Retronord.

The configuration of the bathroom in this case could not be changed, and it remained rather narrow. Because of this, the pedestal was made shallow and a shell bowl was placed on it. they tried to bring the room closer to the square due to the darker porcelain stoneware above the bathroom. The color for the panels was chosen to match the shade of the inclusions on this porcelain stoneware.
