Galons Dior: a new collection of high jewelry art

There are 81 pieces of jewelry in the Dior collection.

Dior Creative Director Victoire de Castellane has opened a new chapter in the history of the House by creating the Galons Dior collection, which pays tribute to the world of haute couture and the legacy of Christian Dior.

The collection is inspired by the visual codes of past Dior collections, in particular decorative ribbons that adorn evening dresses and suits. This type of decoration is interpreted in its own way in jewelry: jewel-studded ribbons are intertwined, forming complex geometric shapes.

The details of the jewelry seem to have been cut with the scissors of the couturier: the masters managed to achieve a slight asymmetry and make sapphires, rubies and emeralds look as if they were fragments of a weightless flowing fabric.
