Interior designer and expert in the field of art and antiques Brigita Maria Norvaise breathed new life into the interior of the old apartment, while preserving its historical details and unique features. The changes primarily affected the layout of the apartments. Some partitions were demolished, which made it possible to improve the organization of the space: to make it more open by combining the living room, kitchen and dining room.

The main task of the designer was to combine seemingly opposite styles in the room — classics and modernity. "I like to add topical touches to traditional interiors: they give the effect of surprise," says Brigita Maria.

A huge crystal lamp and a century—old carved sideboard, a marble fireplace and elegant ceiling moldings - all these ancient decorative items are harmoniously combined with modern interior elements. Monochrome gamma creates an interesting play of light and shadow, and gold details give the interior a soft glow and a touch of glamour. www.brigitamarija.comPhoto
