There is an unusual detail in the layout of this house — the kitchen and living room are on the top floor. But this does not bother the owners, on the contrary, this is what they asked the architects to do.: so the windows offer a better view of the surrounding area

Helle Skovmose Kjær and Gunnar Lisby Kjær were looking for a place for a quiet life outside the city, and found a plot where an old rural farm was located. They realized that it would be difficult to convert a long-abandoned building into a full-fledged house. But building a new one was also not an easy task, because the local commune must agree to any, even minor construction. So Helle and Gunnar went around all the neighbors and told them about their plans, enlisting support.
