The owners of this studio were preparing it for future sale. They gravitated towards the loft style, but designer Irina Bebeshina suggested softening the brutality of this aesthetic with the help of eco-style and pleasant green shades. The work was a success, the apartment immediately found its buyer.

Customers and tasks
The owners of this studio invited designer Irina Bebeshina to design a comfortable interior and equip several functional areas on a small square. It was important to allocate a bedroom with a full double bed, a kitchen, a living room area and provide enough storage space for things. They wanted to put the apartment up for sale after the renovation, and looking ahead, everything turned out as planned. Now a young hostess lives here, a student of one of the Moscow universities, whose branch is located just near her new home.

Layout
The studio apartment is an elongated room. By the time Irina got to work, the owners had erected partitions for the bathroom. To separate the bedroom area, the designer suggested using a glass loft partition (sliding, with frosted glass in a black metal profile). The bedroom was given a place by the window. But the choice of frosted glass allows light to penetrate into the kitchen-living room area. In addition, the partition will not be closed all the time, because the new owner lives alone. The hallway turned out to be separate, which is good in a practical sense, dirt will not spread throughout the studio. But this was provided by the developer.

Finishing
"I was given the task to make an inexpensive, but stylish project, and this was the reason for the choice of finishing materials," Irina comments. So, the walls are painted by a famous English brand, which is famous for its deep and diverse palette of colors. In the bedroom, namely behind the headboard of the bed, wallpaper was pasted. It made her feel more comfortable. In addition, an unobtrusive geometric pattern adds a light accent and dynamics to this area.

The wall is covered with the same wallpaper, which opens immediately at the entrance to the apartment. It has a door to the bathroom. To offset the effect of a crushed small space, we chose a flush-mounted door and also covered it with wallpaper. Now it is as inconspicuous as possible.

A small rectangular green tile from a Russian manufacturer was chosen for the apron. The same tile is used in the bathroom: on the wall in the sink area and at the toilet. It was combined with gray tiles for concrete.

On the floor in the studio, quartz vinyl was laid under the tree with a single coating. It is a practical material that is not afraid of water, dirt and mechanical influences. The bathroom has porcelain stoneware under the tree.
Furniture and storage systems
To store things, a wardrobe was installed in the hallway with a length of 1.3 meters and two cabinets in the bedroom area in front of the bed of 80 cm. Between the two cabinets is a work desk, which can also serve as a dressing table. They, like the kitchen, were made to order. The upper cabinets did not perform in the traditional version, they planned a small module above the sink with partially open shelves. The dining table has been replaced by a peninsula-bar counter. In the bathroom, the bedside table was also made to order.

Individual pieces of furniture, a rack, bedside tables were bought in the mass market. The author of the project "caught" them at the final sale of the Danish brand, which arranged it before the closure of stores in Russia. We had to stand in long queues, but the desire to finish the project with the planned furniture was high.

Lighting
Like the concept of the entire interior, the style of the lamps is a combination of loft and eco. So, the general light is represented by track lamps of graphic black color. Above the bar and on the sides of the bed there are suspensions with wicker lampshades. The latter (in the bedroom) were made to order from a master in Voronezh, the necessary ones could not be found in stores. Above the sofa in the living room there is a sconce as an additional light source, above the table in the bedroom there is a suspension. In the bathroom there are spotlights on the ceiling and a suspension by the mirror. There is also a kitchen countertop illumination.

Irina Bebeshina Designer-decorator, author of the project
I define the interior style as a loft with eco elements. One of the characteristic features of the loft is the use of partitions and furniture made of metal profile and wood. A large number of green shades in the interior are responsible for the eco-style: they are present in the floral pattern on the wallpaper, and in the green tile-a wild boar in the kitchen area. Also, the presence of straw lampshades in the bedroom and above the bar counter adds to the mood of some cafe in Southeast Asia. The tile in the bathroom, on the one hand, refers to the eco style due to the imitation of wood, and on the other to the loft style due to the rough gray texture of wood.
