How to fit everything in a small bathroom? 5 examples with layouts from designers | ivd.ru

Let's look at the implemented projects, where bathrooms have up to 4 sq. m. m designers were able to fit a shower or a bathtub, a toilet, a washing machine and storage systems. 

Bathroom decoration is one of the most difficult tasks, because, as a rule, this area does not have a large area in a typical city apartment. This does not stop designers, they fit everything you need even on a few square meters. Here are real examples!

1 Bathroom 3.9 sq. m

This bathroom is located in a studio apartment, which was designed by designer Natalia Leifer. The apartment is owned by a young couple, there was a request to create a clean minimalistic interior.

It is also reflected in the design of the bathroom. The walls and floor are decorated with granite in neutral tones with natural textures. One wall was completely occupied by a bathtub. Next to it there is a hanging cabinet under the sink, a washing machine is installed under a single countertop with a pedestal. The toilet was placed at the entrance, and the wall above the installation was further occupied by a storage system built-in locker with wooden facades without handles. Minimalism in everything!

2 Bathroom 2.8 sq. m

Architect Anna Novopoltseva designed these apartments for rent. The status of the premises non-residential apartments allowed to expand the bathroom due to the kitchen and a common corridor, which is owned by the same owner, but the room still turned out to be very compact.

Nevertheless, it was possible to fit everything you need: a shower, a toilet, a washing machine, which is located under the sink. A niche in the wall was used for storage, shelves were arranged there and covered with a mirror, it is just above the sink. 

3 Bathroom 3.6 sq. m

There is a small bathroom in this apartment, but the designer Irina Bebeshina planned the space in such a way that a shower room, a sink with a pedestal, a toilet and a washing machine with a storage locker fit. 

The size of the shower and comfort did not have to be sacrificed, it is standard and convenient to use 90x90 cm, the pedestal is a little more than a meter in length, roomy enough. A washing machine stood in a niche between the shower and the wall, and a hanging cabinet for storing various household supplies was organized above it. 

4 Shower room 2.8 sq. m

Zu Hause Design studio headed by Olga Tsurikova designed this apartment "turnkey" for a girl.

The bathroom was originally small, so the developer provided it, but this did not prevent the designer from placing everything he needed there: a shower, a sink with a pedestal, a toilet, as well as a washing machine in the closet, where there is a storage space and a laundry basket. The cabinet fit into a niche, which was in the original layout from the developer a successful and convenient solution. 

5 Bathroom 3.8 sq. m

In this small studio apartment, the developer offered a bathroom and a laundry room, but designer Olesya Leshchenko decided to combine them to make the space more convenient.

Thus, the area of the combined bathroom was almost 4 square meters. There is a comfortable shower area, a washing area (sink and mirror), as well as a storage cabinet with an integrated washing machine. The wardrobe is one of the accent elements, its facades echo the style and shape of the mirror.
