1 Organize closed storage
To make a small bathroom look proportionate and more spacious, it is important to get rid of any visual noise. A lot of mismatched jars and bottles greatly overload the interior, and for a small space can become a disaster at all. Therefore, it is important to organize as much closed storage as possible. Put a laundry basket with a lid. For cosmetics and small things that are kept in plain sight, buy beautiful organizers and hide everything there. Choose accessories that fit into the overall style and are combined with the main palette. If there is enough space, you can put a compact rack with glass doors in the bathroom.
2 Do not use variegated textiles
Bright contrasting patterns make a small bathroom space even smaller visually. Choose fabrics with a small, barely noticeable pattern and use only one or a couple of complementary patterns. And even better, monophonic. You can choose a rich color for textiles, but for maximum visual unity, it is desirable to maintain a palette common with the rest of the space.
3 Install sliding doors
An opening door leaf can become a whole problem for a small space. It is sometimes impossible to choose the right side, because in any case, the door leaf closes important items in the bathroom and steals precious space. And it is not a fact that it will be possible to open the sash outwards: it depends on the size of the corridor and other doors located nearby. 4 Give up the mat

5 Provide bright lighting
The brighter the lighting, the larger the room seems to be. To visually expand the bathroom space, work with what is there. For example, screw brighter bulbs with neutral, close to daylight into the lampshades. It is pleasant to the eye and does not distort the perception of colors, which is important when applying makeup and conducting beauty procedures. It is also possible to additionally illuminate shelves or a mirror if there is a free outlet for the LED strip.
6 Replace the curtain with a transparent screen
Even if you choose a calm color scheme and abandon colorful patterns, the bathroom curtain will still either overload the space or simply hide part of it. Instead, it is better to install a transparent plastic or glass screen. It perfectly protects against splashes, does not become a source of mold or fungus, and most importantly does not make the room visually smaller than it is.
