A two-bedroom house with heating, which at any moment can set off on a journey to new shores. What could be better?

There are many people who like to live in temporary housing. Coco Chanel rented a room with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room at the Ritz Paris Palace Hotel for thirty-seven years, Vladimir Nabokov lived in the Fairmont Montreux Palace Hotel for almost sixteen years. Pierre Richard called a barge moored to the Seine bank his home for twelve years, but eventually sold it in order to move to solid land.

The owner of this yacht with a bright red painted hull apparently also got tired of his houseboat and put it up for sale. The red boat has two bedrooms, including the main cabin with a king-size bed and a pop-up TV at the foot, a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower, a toilet and a luxury kitchen with smooth quartz work surfaces, a five-burner stove, a refrigerator with a freezer, a wine refrigerator, Smeg appliances and a built-in microwave, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine.

The houseboat boasts even such a rare convenience for London as heating. There is a diesel oven in the living room, a 5G antenna connected to solar panels. The closed marina provides security throughout the day and night, with round-the-clock video surveillance. All this splendor costs £230,000 (plus £13,375 a year for mooring) and is sold through River Homes.
