Notable for the modernism of the 1960s, the house is located on one of the hills of Los Angeles, in the Silver Lake area. The building is easily recognizable by the bright orange door and the asymmetrical balconies on the main facade

The geometric modernism of the Silver Lake district is fully manifested in this 1960 house designed by architect Stephen Alan Siskind. Since its construction, original details have been preserved here, including beamed ceilings, dormer windows, a "recessed" living room with an old fireplace and panoramic glazing, opening incredible views of the surrounding area and the famous reservoir.

The rooms in the house are interconnected by several levels, and the most remarkable by the "drop" is the dining room, which turns into a recessed living room with a vintage fireplace, which is a meter below.

Stone countertops, bright geometric tile floors and modern household appliances have been updated in the spacious dark wood kitchen. The master bedroom is located on the upper level, and two children's rooms and a second bathroom are located on the lower floor.

From the attic with sliding glass doors there is a convenient exit to the backyard with a patio. Small "terraces" were cut into the steep hill, on which there are places for recreation and boxes for plants. And at the very top of the plot there is a children's playhouse, from where you can also admire the views of the lake and the city below.
