The lower Volga is a paradise for fishermen: these places are still wild and picturesque. To hear a story about how the other day during spearfishing they shot "that's the kind of carp" or caught a two-meter pike is a common thing.

Entrepreneur Oleg Tinkov got the idea to build a dacha here after he came to Astrakhan several times for fishing and never returned empty-handed.

The main cottage and guest houses are built of glued pine timber by Honka. The project — from the first sketches to the final stage — was implemented in record time: in just 11 months! The landscape project La Datcha was also developed by Honka specialists

The idea was continued, and La Datcha appeared on the map, which this summer received the first guests — in the absence of the owner himself, the house is rented.

"When drawing the facade, we started from the image of a landing stage — a floating pier to which steamers moored on the Volga," says architect Svetlana Bednyakova. — The house looks at the canal, which is easy to get to the big water." In the distance you can see a lighthouse built in the time of Peter the Great: once there was the Caspian Sea, but the water receded for several tens of kilometers.

Oleg Tinkov immediately set the task of creating absolute comfort in the "dacha". "Within a radius of a thousand kilometers, there is nothing equal in scale and quality of service," he says. The creative concept of La Datcha Tinkoff Collection was developed by architect Vasily Shprits.

On the ground floor there is a main recreation area: a living room with a fireplace, a bar, a billiard room, a dressing room with fishing accessories, a gym, a sauna and a hammam. On the second floor there are bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and dressing room. (Oleg himself stays in the biggest one when he comes to Astrakhan.) They are named like the birds that have chosen these places: "Crane", "Peregrine Falcon", "Swan". By the way, the rooms are not locked with a key, because the main idea of La Datcha is that it is a house, not a hotel. All their own, and, therefore, locks are not needed. The decoration is dominated by materials reflecting the specifics of the local climate.

"All the colors in the interior reflect the surrounding nature. Blue is the shade of the morning sky, grayish-brown is the color of the trunks of local trees,— says Honka designer Anna Petrova. — There is also a brutal dark reed shade."

"The lamps above the dining table and the central chandelier in the living room were decorated with ropes by hand," says project manager Leila Nikitina. - The process itself resembled acrobatic sketches. You should have seen it!"

Leather sofas and armchairs define the masculine character of the interiors. The kitchen is managed by a chef invited from St. Petersburg. The menu, of course, includes Volga delicacies: sturgeon, sturgeon, sterlet, beluga, black and pike caviar.

In the left wing of La Datcha, opposite the fitness room, a spa area is planned. There is a font sunk into the floor between the hammam and the sauna.

La Dacha Astrakhan is the fourth object in the La Datcha Tinkoff Collection project. The other three are scattered across Europe: the chalets in Val Thorens and Courchevel and the palazzo in Forte dei Marmi. Each house is dedicated to the entrepreneur's sports hobbies: in France it is skiing, in Italy — cycling, in Russia — fishing.Kananykina Elena
