"Functionality and practicality were in the first place in this project — this is a very close approach for me," says designer Anton Larionov

"We have known the customer for a long time, and this was our third joint work. It seems to me that we understand each other quite easily, so there was no detailed technical task. The wishes concerned only the functional side of the issue: there had to be a full kitchen and a separate bed. Since the apartments were intended for rental, we avoided controversial and too bold decisions. Also, we did not use gray and white marble, because the apartments opposite are made exactly in this color scheme, and in general, there have been too many such interiors lately. The hostess supported me and gave me almost complete freedom of action, for which I am very grateful to her."

"The apartments have an elongated shape and one window at the end, so most of the rooms are located deep in the space. We have isolated the hallway, and in the main part of the apartment we visually identified three zones: kitchen, living room and bedroom. It was decided to remove the latter from the kitchen as much as possible and place it at the window, which offers a great view of the apple orchard and Victory Park."

"In order not to overload the already small space, we abandoned swing interior doors in favor of sliding ones. When zoning, we tried to use a minimum of funds. For example, the kitchen is highlighted only by lowering the ceiling and granite on the floor, which is matched to the carpet in the living room. In the bedroom, a large built-in wardrobe with facades merging with the shade of the walls is responsible for zoning."

"Accent black elements were also used in the visual division of the space. Chairs play this role in the kitchen, a pair of coffee tables and a floor lamp in the living room, and a laconic black bed in the bedroom area. At the same time, to make the interior more warm and cozy, we added a lot of natural wood, linen and materials with a stone texture."

"Since the apartments will be rented out, we didn't want to overload the interior with decor, but we couldn't do without it at all. I was looking for something neutral and at the same time interesting, lively. One day I was in a store of dried flowers and stabilized plants, and I was jokingly offered to take a huge palm leaf and hang it over the bed. So the joke became a reality, and the leaf of the palm tree "Washingtonia" turned out to be in the interior."
