"The project's customers, a married couple with a teenage child, wanted a stylish interior in neutral tones with a large dressing room and a place for a home library," says designer Vera Prokhorova.
"Initially, the owners bought an apartment with a free layout. The windows overlook both sides, so we had no special restrictions in the organization of space. We have divided the area into large zones: private, where there are bedrooms and a dressing room, and public, in which there is a living room combined with a kitchen and dining room. We also managed to allocate space for two full bathrooms and a separate laundry room."

"At the very beginning of the renovation, the customers said they wanted an interior in calm colors, so we chose pastel shades of Little Greene and Farrow & Ball paints for wall decoration. The furniture is made of natural veneer of various breeds and colors. To make the design of the apartment more graphic, we added black elements: lamps, furniture details and textiles."

"Already at the stage of furniture selection, the owners wanted to add some bright colors. This is how Coco chairs from Gubi appeared in the project in dusty pink velvet upholstery with thin black legs that echo the curved lamps above the dining table. The multicolored carpet designed by Christian Lacroix for Designers Guild visually connected the sofa group with the dining and kitchen areas."

"Among other things, we carefully selected works of art that complement the look of the interior. I am fond of art, so I usually look for suitable paintings, photographs or other objects myself. The works of Belarusian artists and photographers have found their place in this apartment: Mikhail Gulin, Tatiana Radzivilko, Galina Lazarchik, Vladimir Sokolovsky, Oksana Veniaminova and Lithuanian photographer Mindaugas Gabrenas."
