Customers have been dreaming about their home for a long time. They wanted to enjoy a calm, measured life without giving up the comfort of the city. After a long search, they managed to find a suitable option near the center. The design of their new home was entrusted by the customers to the designer Olga Grineva.

"The house has two floors. The first floor is the center of attraction for the whole family, — says Olga. — There is a two-light living room with a beautiful view of the forest and a summer guest house with a sauna and a barbecue area. The kitchen-dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows and access to the terrace also fascinates with the abundance of greenery in summer and snow-covered tree branches in winter. The second level is occupied by two bedrooms with bathrooms."

"Our main task was to create the atmosphere of a country house. To do this, we used calm warm tones and natural materials. As the finishing of the window slopes, we chose panels with natural oak veneer, tinted in the color of stairs and doors. This technique made it possible to emphasize the height of the windows and insulate the openings with large glazing."

"The color scheme is based on a combination of beige and brown shades. They are repeated in the design of the floor, walls and furniture. We decorated the frames of moldings on the light walls in the halls with a ribbon with a coating of velvet in the color of bitter chocolate. It became a connecting element of the interior and made the already high ceilings visually even higher."

"The main wish of the customers, which served as a starting point in the creation of the project, was the presence of a wood-burning fireplace in the center of the living room. Initially, a "floating" fireplace with an open fire was provided, but in the process of implementation we decided to replace the furnace. The fireplace came in quite an impressive size, and after thermal insulation it became even larger. Then the idea came to turn it into an unusual art object that attracts everyone's attention. We lined the furnace with copper sheets. The reddish hue and light reflective effect gave the fireplace a special charm."
