"Malachite casket" is how this project can be described, according to designer Taisiya Druzina. This metaphor best characterizes the interior of this house, it holds family values — very personal, important, passing from generation to generation.

The customers, a married couple with four children, bought a house with a fine finish and wanted to move as soon as possible, so the layout was practically not changed. Most attention was paid to the entrance area, adding another vestibule at the expense of the street. Thus, a spectacular suite of plaster portals and a bright floor made of multicolored slabs turned out. So that nothing spoils the impression, I organized all the things in a walk-through dressing room, into which a hidden door leads.

In the living room, an accent wall decorated with wood attracts attention. In general, in the design of the house, Taisiya preferred natural materials that will never go out of fashion. Moderate use of stucco gives the space volume without weighing down the interior.

The whole interior is based on a combination of different eras and styles. So, in the kitchen-dining room, the buffet of the XIX century is adjacent to the bright abstraction of a modern Israeli artist and elegant modern furniture. The central place in the study was occupied by an antique handmade desk, which was delivered from St. Petersburg. The carved mirror that decorated the guest bathroom, which also came from the Northern Capital, where it was carefully restored.

Oriental motifs play an equally important role in the interior, which can be traced in the forms of furniture, ornaments on wallpaper and textiles. Wooden panels, oak curbstones with carved elements in bathrooms, headboards in bedrooms upholstered in bright fabrics — all this reflects the love of customers for refined luxury and oriental culture.
