This is not the first time we have worked with customers. Before that, I did more unusual and bold projects for them, but here was another task. The apartment was intended for rent, so it was necessary to create a fairly simple and understandable interior that many people would like.

The kitchen with an island and a window sill are made to order according to the designer's sketches. Ceiling lamps, "MDM Light". The paintings are made by Anna Shevchenko. Vase, IKEA. The bar stools were brought from South Africa by the author of the project specifically for this interior. The trough for chopping cabbage was bought at the antique market in Murom.

The area of the apartment is small (40 sq.m.), so we decided not to split the space into parts. Opening the front door, we find ourselves in the hallway, from where we can see almost the entire apartment: on the right is the kitchen with an island, on the left is the living room. Light curtains in the color of the walls mark the transition from the living room to the bedroom. There is only one interior door in the apartment — the bathroom is hidden behind it.

I believe that an interior design project should contain some idea. In this sense, it is easier to work for a specific customer, since it is possible to focus on his preferences and lifestyle. When there is no central figure in the project — the personality of the owner — I resort to the help of ornament and texture. In this interior, I played with different surfaces. For example, the counters of the kitchen island are made of metal, and the countertop is made of glass. The window sills are decorated with walnut veneer with a natural texture. All storage systems are made in a matte finish and merge with the surface of the walls.

Also, the variety in the minimalistic interior is brought by tiles with geometric ornaments, which seem to be laid out randomly on the hallway floor. On the walls in the bathroom, another of my favorite decorative techniques is applied — tiles of the same color, but of different formats are arranged in a certain rhythm, according to the horizontals and verticals in this room.

African wooden figurines were brought by the author of the project from South Africa specifically for this interior. Cactus is the property of the stylist.

In addition to creating interiors, I am seriously engaged in painting and am familiar with the theory of color. This monochrome project was not without rich colors. Bright accents in the furniture and carpet against the background of the walls of a transparent blue shade gather in a harmonious coloristic orchestra.

The cabinet is made according to the sketches of the author of the project. Tile, Vives. Sconces, IKEA. Mirrored door, ProfilDoors.

The furnishings are complemented by art objects: the paintings that I wrote myself, and the art object authored by Ekaterina Ponomareva. The ceramic sculptural table is made of Kuchinsky chamotte — clay interspersed with porcelain crumbs. The object is fired in a special oven at a temperature of 1300 degrees. So the beauty of fire, ash and cobalt intricately intertwined, and each facet of the table turned out to be unique.
