The architects of the WGNB studio have specially made the boutique space extremely minimalistic so that it looks more like an art gallery than a store. Against such a monochrome background, clothes laid out on shelves and hung on rails look like a work of modern art.

The movement of visitors around the hall is set by a variety of monoliths mounted on huge stones of irregular shape.

The semicircular arches of the benches, which serve to showcase accessories and as seating for visitors, seem to balance on irregularly shaped stones and concrete supports.

SVRN Boutique is located in the Fulton Market area in Chicago and is divided into two parts: the main hall and a utility room, which are connected by a narrow corridor. The choice of monochrome shades and laconic forms creates a meditative calm space in which only individual elements set the movement — they dictate the ways in which the visitor can move.

The walls and ceiling in the back room are finished with stainless steel.

Black rails cross the walls, separating curved and flat partitions made of concrete, steel and wood painted in black. The architects used micro-cement on the walls to contrast with metal details, contrasting a rougher texture against the background of smooth surfaces.
