Designers Anton Korneev and Ekaterina Blokhina did this project "from" and "to". From buying an apartment to choosing a home perfume. "This is an investment project for our regular customers," the designers say. — The client requested to purchase a property for rent, allocated the entire budget for the purchase and subsequent repairs at once, and then entered a fully finished space where towels, dishes and slippers were hanging. We were required to create a bright, memorable design in which it would be pleasant to live, dream and create. Among ourselves, we called this project "Dream"!

The apartments with a total area of 45 square meters are located in the very center of Moscow, near the Mayakovskaya metro station. "Three windows in a line allowed us to get a large enfilade space from the living room, kitchen-dining room and bedroom," the designers continue. "We managed to create a sense of spaciousness, while placing all the necessary functionality for two people to live on 45 meters, make an entrance hall with natural light, a cozy bedroom, a bathroom with a huge shower that can accommodate ten people at the same time — we checked for a housewarming party."

"We were once again convinced that colored ceilings are very beautiful"
The layout was completely changed. The old parquet and brick walls were painted with white paint, and everything else was done anew. Huge sliding doors with wooden mosaics are more impressive than photo wallpapers. "We saw these decorative wall panels on Instagram (an extremist organization banned in Russia) of a small carpentry shop in Saransk and decided to use them for door decoration," Anton recalls. — A chic 120 cm high shell chandelier was brought from Bali, and the table lamp near the sofa was made by ourselves from an antique wine bottle. Sawn for the headboard of the bed was bought in the Moscow region at a sawmill. Because of its huge size, it had to be dragged through the balcony. The crown painting for the bathroom was painted by themselves, and the mirror was found at an antique market - the frame was broken, but everything was restored, and right on the construction site. The fabrics and the missing decor were brought from a trip to Asia. So there are more than enough interesting details in a small apartment."

"In order to balance such a diverse palette, assembled on the basis of natural colors and materials, white color was used as the basis. It's like a blank sheet of paper on which an image then appears. The ceilings were made dark and once again made sure that it is very beautiful. But we were especially proud when a queue of willing tenants lined up for these apartments, and the passions were not joking! Downright Mexican — so the palm trees here are also not accidental at all."
