This house, designed by CLB Architects studio, is located near the Grand Teton National Park, surrounded by poplars, through the "veil" of which an impressive view of the mountains and the river opens. In order for the owners to enjoy the natural scenery, the architects decided to raise the first floor of the house almost two meters from the ground. "The result is an architecture that interacts with the landscape," the studio says.

The building consists of two volumes — the main house and a guest house - united by a spacious terrace. The facades are lined with cedar and black steel panels, which, according to the architects, will gradually rust, changing the appearance of the house. Huge panoramic windows allow you to combine the living room, dining room and kitchen with a terrace, where a cozy sitting area is organized.

Inside, the house is also decorated with cedar, the warm texture of which creates a cozy atmosphere and contrasts with the rough texture of concrete columns dividing the common space of the first floor. In general, when designing the interior, the architects adhered to a soft natural palette, only occasionally adding bright tones as accents.
